Jackery DC Extension Cable for Solar Panel

Good stuff!

Not a lot of though gone into these cables. They are far too stiff and, unforgivably, when you connect these OEM extensions to the OEM solar cable from the panel, they don't join in a water tight seal. Instead there is a 1-2mm gap where metal can be seen, which will let water in. Why? These connectors should push flush together with a rubberised seal between the two. Very disappointing and glaringly obvious design oversight. If you're going to charge this amount for a cable, at least get the small stuff right. It works though :)

The 5m DC extension cable is an ideal accessory to have with you while out on the road so that you can have more freedom about where you place your solar panels relative to your solar generator. If like me you want to keep the generator in a vehicle then the 5m extension cable is great for siting solar panels away from the shadow caused by the vehicle and making sure you make the most of the available sun. It comes with the adapter for both types of connector at one end and also includes 2 very strong Jackery cable straps, which are like velcro but without the fluff and scratch! Highly recommended.
