Jackery Explorer 300 Plus Portable Power Station

This is a very smart light weight peace of kit. Only used once so far till next camping trip. Not used solar panels yet but I know a few people with these and they say I will not be disappointed with them.

Absolutely brilliant, used a few times away camping on the first initial charge and lasting really well.

Before I absolutely rate this product to the moon I must mention I got this thing for an extremely competitive price… the product came in a lovely presented box with a free carrying case which is extremely high quality, I initially bought this Jackery explorer 300 for general use however I soon realised that this thing is extremely underrated. Rated at 300 watts max and 600 watts peak it will do much much more…. This product runs things from small space heaters to powerful audio equipment, and still packs a small enough structure to be used for just charging your phone or iPad…. This thing will happily sit at 500 watts through out its entire battery capacity… it weighs abit, but that just tells me that this product is quality. Absolutely amazing piece of professional equipment from Jackery, absolutely made up with it. Will 1000 percent buy again from Jackery in the future.

The 300 plus is a good unit for when you need to power smaller appliance or any USB powered device, and when powering AC appliances it runs quietly, with the fan speeding up with increased output but still quiet. The biggest issue I have is that the two USB ports on the front are NOT 100w each, nor 100w combined as shown in the product images and tech specs. The unit I received has 15w max on the left USB-C and 100w max on the right USB-C therefore if you plan on pulling say 50w from each USB-C port (totalling 100w combined) then you can’t because the left port is only 15w max. Be aware of this if you need two ports to supply more than 15w at the same time. It’s still suitable for most people but I don’t like that the website images clearly show 100w but the delivered product is only 15w.

Overall very impressed with my 300 plus. Charges off mains in about 2.5hrs. As mentioned by some other reviewers I'd like a car charger cable to be included and I think it's a shame they don't include a couple of orange type C cables like they do with the new Jackery 100. Lost count of how many times it charged my mobile. I purchased the 300 plus specifically to charge phones, tablets and other low power devices when off grid caravaning, in one of my pictures we had 4 or 5 mobile devices charging just for fun. It did everything I needed it to do. It's a good size, better build quality than I expected. The app all works but Bluetooth does drop out every now and then. My next purchase will be an 80w Solar Saga and case for the 300 plus. I may even look at a bigger Jackery for use in the workshop. I'd recommend this device and the brand. Would have been 5 star if it had car charger and couple of orange type C cables.

Super impressed, it arrived the day I was leaving for a weeks camping trip. Was fully charged in 2 hours from the sun, quicker than expected. Used daily and still have 40% left after 5 days of use. This has exceeding my expectations and highly recommend, great way to go off grid in campervan without the worry. This easily powers a portable fridge for many hours. Will be booking more non electric camping now I have this. Great product. Many people on campsite have solar power envy! Many comments made and I can’t fault it at all.

Overall this device is a decent purchase, however the fact that Jackery give you no car charger and no guidance on where you can purchase a suitable car charger for this device is disappointing. It’s not available in the accessories menu on this website. In order to buy a Jackery Car charger you have to buy a Jackery 1000 spec or above because with those models the charger comes in the box. I therefore felt a bit penalised for buying the cheaper model. None are available on Amazon or other sites . I would like to be sent a car charger by post in order to feel that this is a satisfactory product.

I have had the unit for a couple of weeks but already am very impressed with its robustness and ease of use. A lot of thought has clearly gone into design and function.

I purchased this due to the twin 100w shown in the advert BUT as another customer stated it is only 1x 100w and the left is 15w only like the E240v2 which questions why the upgrade But it works well with a slightly higher capacity and same 300w A/C output !! - I am happy with my purchase ☺️

Excellent piece of kit , does more than you think it can .
Perfect for charging small devices and also manages battery chargers for power tools .

Just purchased the Jackery 300 solar for a trip down the coast, what a piece of kit! With the 40w solar panel plugged in it lost no more than a couple of bars of power while charging phones tablets and watches, and to top it off, it ran my makita fridge for over 5 days, obviously while plugged in with direct sun light, but non the less, a great bit of kit! Would highly recommend and have already got a couple of friends to order!

Having looked around and checking reviews/prices I decided to buy this and I’m so glad I did.
Excellent quality and looks like it’s built to last a good few years.
More expensive than other brands but you can tell why.

Very happy with the Jackery Explorer 300 plus works great for a couple of items that we need 240v for, nice and compact 👍👌

Unfortunately we have had a little as accident with it (our fault) we left it on the worktop next to the hob and melted the back casing, luckily we moved it in time and it still works fine, just got a big hole in the back, we are hoping that we can get a new casing (need to speak to customer services) on that mater

We have this to keep all our phones and tablets charged over. Weekend camping. Works great.

Got the above as it ticked all the boxes for our needs. It’s very light and quiet as it says in the description. It’s easy to use and hook up to the solar panel which is very compact and stores very easily. We used it most recently on a day out when we plugged our 15litre Alpicool travel fridge/freezer into it (using the UK 3 pin socket) for 4 hours on a hot day. The 300 plus went down to 70% which we thought was pretty good. Overall very happy with it so far.

This is a great little generator for its size. VERY portable and lightweight. However, it has a lot of power. I have charged multiple lights, dvd player and a phone and it still had enough left to power my radio for hours. Charges very quickly from the grid or my 1000v2. I would only charge via solar if I really had to as the maximum it will charge at via the USB in/out is 11 watts which takes hours. That said, the facility is there if you need it.

Fast charging and hold it's charge well. Like that I can charge it by solar, car or mains. Not quite big enough for the Zombie Appocolypse but great for Camping, emergencies, garden etc. Enjoy thinking of different ways to use it.

Love the Jackery I ordered and it's functionality, size and design. I also ordered the bag which is great although my only comment would be that its slightly too large for the Jackery 300. Overall I'm very happy with everything I have ordered and know it's an investment that will see my camping trips through the test of time.

This package is great value for money. Delivery was quick. Packaging was excellent. The unit is nice and small, yet the 300w power is ideal for my camping fridge. The solar panel, yes it's only 40w but on a sunny day (even in Scotland) it will give a good 15 to 20w trickle charge to the unit. Enough over a day to top it up a few %. But it is very compact and that's the whole point of this package.The solar panel could really do with a stand, but at this price point / panel size you are limited. Improvements for the package, it could do with a right angle on the usb-c connector for the solar panel as it does stick out quite a bit and can get knocked. Overall though, the display is clear and bright, the mobile app is easy to setup and does the basics well. I don't see myself needing a higher capacity unit any time soon, but if I do I would certainly purchase again from Jackery.
