Absolutely awesome power bank, love the display of power in and out so you can monitor what is using what.
Solar panel is a must extra takes a few sunny days to fully charge in uk, but with the 12V charge connector for plugging in whist driving it almost always charged fully.

Such a fabulous bit of kit!

I bought this as a quick fix as our vans solar system had failed and we wanted to get away. So glad I did as this will be ultra handy moving forward for use in our awning- charging the phones, running the awning light and any other item I have out there.

I bought the jump lead attachment which has offered extra peace of mind.
It’s quite light too which is handy if you have a smaller van like ours (T5 swb)

Lithium Battery Technology and tajes an age to charge BUT will probably do more than 1000 charges and thats quite a lot ! - I USE MINE to charge my USB C via specual cables, charge my Jackerv Lantern and have a special 12v Car Charger for 100w USB C power and for best power transfer use the orange Javkery charger in the 3 pin socket and also use the mains plug for my 300w kettle, Rice Cooker and Egg Timer. I also charge up Makita Batteries and can power my mini Makita Fridge.
Ii charges via SolarSaga 100w panel and this is enough to top it up !
It through charges from the mains, Solar or Car Charger too, wjklst charging other stuff !!

Expensive phone charger.
My wife bought me this and the solar panel for Christmas, due to my love of wild camping.
Sadly, other than charging my phone or running my travel food heater it ain't an awful lot of good.
I am aware, now, that it cannot power anything over the wattage. Which makes me wonder, why bother in the first place.

Perfect for my T2 to charge phone, run laptop and other items, first time using one and very impressed with it so far

Absolutely loved using our Jackery so far, it’s been perfect for charging phones and other things like usb lights and a cool box. Easy to set up and the solar panel is really handy. Although the panel is quite big it’s thin and slides in the boot no issues. Can’t recommend it enough, worth the extra money!

This is a review of the Jackery Explorer 500. At 518wh and 500 watts continuous and 1000 watts peak this solar generator can power pretty much any of your portable needs. The display readout is clear to understand and is backlit showing the Input and Output in Watts and the remaining battery in percent and battery icon. The AC outlet is capable of 500 watts continuous.

Easy to use straight out of the box. I received it on the Wednesday but didn’t have time to unpack it and charge it up until Friday. Friday evening we had a major power outage in my area for 5-6 hours (the first in 5 years living here) and I was sooo thankful for this little device which powered a light and my phone with plenty of spare capacity, making my evening a little more normal until power was restored in the middle of the night

Absolutely brilliant.
Ran our campsite for a week. Mini cooler 45l, laptops x2, 4 x phones, 2 x power banks, 4 lanterns. All charged via solar and trips in the car. Won’t run a hair dryer, does run straighteners. Happy girls meant happy man ????

Actually came across the bag as above by accident and it's proved handy as can hold and store all cables even some room for plug fone charger.. however jackery Don't seen to push or promote this.

I was looking for ways to remotely power a small PA setup for an outdoor event. When looking into purchasing new kit, I always read reviews and gather as much information as possible before making my final choice.

Battery power station tech was new to me and I quickly discovered Jackery was a significant player. Even though there were cheaper competitor products on the market, I kept returning to the Jackery brand for the overall build, functionality and positive reviews. I didn’t have to wait long for the Jackery Explorer to arrive. Once fully charged, I plugged in my PA equipment and left it running for hours. I was amazed how much charge remained! With confidence, the Jackery was used along with my kit for the event and I was truly impressed how long the unit lasted, plus how portable and rugged the unit is. I made the right choice!

I've purchased the Jackery 500 & Solar panel. I've waited a few months to write this review as I wanted to give it a good test run & I have to say WOW what an amazing piece of kit, it is now something I can't do without in my camper. So easy & straightforward to use, looks great with a simple clean design. Love the fact all the facilities are at the front, so makes it perfect to use in the camper as you can fit it into a specific place & no need to remove when I want to use it as everything is accessible on the front face, perfect. The solar panel is the best I have seen, it is very robust & solid, easy to set up using the back pull out panels to angle towards the sun & the the magnetic closure on the handle area is a bonus, love this feature. Overall I would rate the both items a 10/10 well impressed. Having used it for a few months I can highly recommend this product.

Recently went on a two week camping trip to Cornwall and didn’t have a hook up. With a little Solar top up when the Sun was out the Jackery Explorer 500 made sure all out tech stayed powered up for the duration. Wit two teenage girls in the day family I cannot stress how important this was for my sanity!

It’s one of those things you don’t realise how much you rely on until you have it — and now we wouldn’t be without ours!

We’ll definitely be buying another one, and this time we’ll be adding the solar panels too, so we can become even more self-sufficient. Highly recommended for anyone who needs reliable portable power, especially fellow market traders and small businesses!

Excellent piece of kit! This powered my AirSense CPAP machine for six days, charged two mobile phones, and provided lighting via the built-in torch while I was camping. Delivery was very fast, it was simple to use, and it charged up quickly.

I would highly recommend the Jackery 500 to anyone with sleep apnoea who needs a reliable portable power station for their CPAP machine.

If you havnt yet got one, why not? Great bit of kit, I use mine camping and fishing, even used it at home, worth every penny

I dived and and bought this and im happy I did. We use it as a backup to our campervan solar. Its lightweight and beautifully designed. Charges our phones and gadgets very quickly and we are happy to have this be part of our outdoor vanlife. Thanks Jackery...by the we purchased the unit and not asked to review it.

Excellent bit of kit, especially for the price. Charges quickly and powered a Samsung Freestyle 2 projector, lights and a mini Halfords fridge for the entire evening (1800-2300) and still had over 42% afterwards to keep food/milk cold throughout the hot/humid night and still had 20% in the morning. Put it back on charge and a few hours later, was back at 100%, good to go again. The Explorer 500 in my honesty opinion is the perfect balance of portability, lightweight and power vs. cost. I was unsure about spending the money on one, but now I'm convinced. Very well worth it and now wouldn't go away without it. When not used whilst away camping, I use it in my garage for all the lighting and lower power draw appliances.

I used my jackery for the first time whilst glamping for 2 nights. I had high hopes and was gutted that my electric cool box literally zapped the power down immediately. Perhaps this is my fault and it’s not suitable to charge such an item. I am a little disappointed
