Great addition to my set up.

This solar panel connector is a great addition to my set up. I can attach multiple panels to charge my units much more quickly, taking advantage of the sun when it is out. The connections are a snug fit and it works really well. Typically at the moment here in Scotland we are getting sunshine early morning and late afternoon, as such by doubling up the panels at these times I am getting as much charge as I would all day with single panels. Would recommend. I plan to get another.

Got 2 jackery solar connectors.very well made and when plugged in they give a tight fit.put to the test a couple days ago with 4 jackery 200w solar panels. Worked spot on. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for

With the expense of SolarSaga 100 panels it is worth paying more for the proper Jackery Connector as the last thing you want is a Connector ignition whilst you are relaxing on your well earned break with a fire !!

The solar panel connector is a good quality product being very sturdy and solid in appearance.
Connected three 100watt panels to a 1000 pro and proved very successful.

Does the solar panel connector work with the Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station?

The 3 in 1 connector is meant for Pro and Plus models bigger than 1000. The 500 can take maximum of 100 W so it would not have any use.

I'm in the UK, and just taken delivery of an Explorer 1000 Plus (P/N JE-1000C), along with a pair of SolarSaga 100 Panels (P/N JS-100C). I'm looking at the Solar Series Connector to allow me to connect both panels and run a single extension cable to the Explorer 1000. But the documentation says this connector only works with the Solar Generator 2000. My question is would this connector also work with the equipment listed above, or is there an alternative connector I could use?

Solar Series Connector is compatible with the Explorer 1000Plus as it has a DC8020 input (female) as well as connector's male output. The problem is that if you want to use both Solar Series Connector and the 5m extension cable they can only be connected in this order: Power station ---> Solar Series Connector ---> 5m Extension cable ---> Solar Panel. It is not possible to switch Solar Series Connector and 5m Extension cable in their places as the extension cable's female part is DC7909 and cannot be connected to connector's male part (DC8020). At this point to prolong distance between power station and solar panels, you'd have to take another extension cable for the second solar panel and use both of the power station's inputs for each panel and you don't need the solar connector. If have a jakery 500 plus 2 x 100w solar panel what cable do I need to buy to connect them pls?

The units that are designed to have 2 Panels connected (Explorer 1000 and up) come with the necessary cables or plugs on the units. Unfortunately, the maximum input that Explorer 500 is rated for is around 85 W and it means that the Explorer 500 is not designed to take advantage of 2 x Solar Saga 100.

Really good product

I normally use a petrol generator to do my embroidery at shows where no power is available, but at the last couple of show I have been to, the generator had let me down. During the really hot weather we have been having has caused really issues with the fuel evaporating.
After a lot of research and some positive recommendations for friends and total strangers, I decided to get the Jackery solar generator 500 v2 which is a lovely compact battery power pack I also had the solar panel to keep it topped up when needed.
I used the Jackery on the last show of the year and it was so easy to use, no worries about it not starting, totally silent and ran my brother v3 embroidery machine with no problem at all.
To say I am happy with my purchase is an under statement. It has taken all my worries away knowing that it will not let me down and I keep happy customers.

Excellent plug

Excellent plug and cable well made and feels great quality. Really fast charging and feels really safe to use. Come with a lovely long cable. Great colour as well you can’t miss it when it’s in the bottom of the draw or mix it up with another charger or cable.

Was nervous about this purchase as quite a big outlay, wanted to be off grid with our camper, first trial with it this weekend, i was impressed with the ease of it, also bought the charging cable for the car and charged today on my way to work drove 20 miles and it charged 6% so not bad i thought

Great middle sized power station for camping.

Had this Explorer 500v2 for a few weeks now for camping, as something a bit smaller and more easily carried than the bigger Explorer 1000v2 we also have.
Runs the 12vDC Alpicool compressor fridge no problem for a weekend away. I've also used it in conjunction with a Noco Genius2 car battery charger to keep the car's starter battery topped up when frequently in and out of our car on a camping trip, which otherwise causes the car's lead acid starter battery to be flattened over a weekend because of the car computers constantlybooting up and all the lights going on every time a door or tailgate opens.
Build quality feels good, simple to use, and can use the Saga 100w solar panel we already have to slow down rate of depletion, British weather permitting of course !
