Great addition to my set up.

This solar panel connector is a great addition to my set up. I can attach multiple panels to charge my units much more quickly, taking advantage of the sun when it is out. The connections are a snug fit and it works really well. Typically at the moment here in Scotland we are getting sunshine early morning and late afternoon, as such by doubling up the panels at these times I am getting as much charge as I would all day with single panels. Would recommend. I plan to get another.

Got 2 jackery solar connectors.very well made and when plugged in they give a tight fit.put to the test a couple days ago with 4 jackery 200w solar panels. Worked spot on. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for

With the expense of SolarSaga 100 panels it is worth paying more for the proper Jackery Connector as the last thing you want is a Connector ignition whilst you are relaxing on your well earned break with a fire !!

The solar panel connector is a good quality product being very sturdy and solid in appearance.
Connected three 100watt panels to a 1000 pro and proved very successful.
Intend buying another solar panel connector to connect my other panels for even faster charging!

Does the solar panel connector work with the Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station?

The 3 in 1 connector is meant for Pro and Plus models bigger than 1000. The 500 can take maximum of 100 W so it would not have any use.

I'm in the UK, and just taken delivery of an Explorer 1000 Plus (P/N JE-1000C), along with a pair of SolarSaga 100 Panels (P/N JS-100C). I'm looking at the Solar Series Connector to allow me to connect both panels and run a single extension cable to the Explorer 1000. But the documentation says this connector only works with the Solar Generator 2000. My question is would this connector also work with the equipment listed above, or is there an alternative connector I could use?

Solar Series Connector is compatible with the Explorer 1000Plus as it has a DC8020 input (female) as well as connector's male output. The problem is that if you want to use both Solar Series Connector and the 5m extension cable they can only be connected in this order: Power station ---> Solar Series Connector ---> 5m Extension cable ---> Solar Panel. It is not possible to switch Solar Series Connector and 5m Extension cable in their places as the extension cable's female part is DC7909 and cannot be connected to connector's male part (DC8020). At this point to prolong distance between power station and solar panels, you'd have to take another extension cable for the second solar panel and use both of the power station's inputs for each panel and you don't need the solar connector. The units that are designed to have 2 Panels connected (Explorer 1000 and up) come with the necessary cables or plugs on the units. Unfortunately, the maximum input that Explorer 500 is rated for is around 85 W and it means that the Explorer 500 is not designed to take advantage of 2 x Solar Saga 100.

Absolutely Fantastic

I’m absolutely delighted with my Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 Portable Power Station. I regularly use it when I’m away off-grid in my motorhome, and it has completely changed the way I use my van when I’m not connected to campsite mains.

I connect the Jackery to my motorhome using a 16-amp cable, which effectively gives me mains power throughout the van just as if I were connected on a campsite. I can then comfortably run my air fryer, kettle and even my wife’s hairdryer and other hair products without worrying about running out of power.

What really impresses me is that I can use my motorhome’s solar system to help replenish the charge I’ve used, making it a fantastic setup for staying off-grid for longer.

The Jackery has given me a huge amount of confidence when travelling and camping away from mains electricity. It’s powerful, reliable and incredibly convenient, and it means I don’t have to compromise on the comforts we enjoy at home.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with it.

The jackory explorer 1000 v2 is brilliant perfect for my fishing trips it’s the second one I’ve had as I previously had the explorer 240 v1 which was perfect at first but I needed a larger capacity battery as I have more stuff to power so I upgraded even though it was still going strong

Really happy with my Power station, easy to use. Stores from the sun really quickly, you can see how much is being stored by a quick press of button on the front. Used it mainly so far to charge my phone, I pad and my watch.

I was about to set off in my campervan with my solar panel but no adapter - unused up to then, and mislaid - so I ordered a replacement to be sent to a destination in Scotland. It arrived there before I did. Of course, the adapter is essential for the Jackery Explorer 240. As for the adapter itself, it works, as expected.

Having, for years used a combination of solar panel, leisure battery and homemade leads, the Jackery is a huge improvement. Happy teenagers!

Recently went on a two week camping trip to Cornwall and didn’t have a hook up. With a little Solar top up when the Sun was out the Jackery Explorer 500 made sure all out tech stayed powered up for the duration. Wit two teenage girls in the day family I cannot stress how important this was for my sanity!
