Jackery Explorer 500 is one of the lightest and most portable rechargeable lithium battery generators on the market. It features with PURE SINE WAVE 500 watt AC outlet which provides stable power to a wide range of AC-relied devices, from TVs, projectors to small blenders, a pellet smoker etc. Note: the appliance must be rated under 500 watt (surge 1000W).

However, the intensity of the light constantly changes. In addition, the angle of the light illuminating the solar panel also changes with the rotation of the sun. Please try test your solar panel under the full sunlight to see, and make sure there is no shadow cast on the panel."

    • A: We mentioned this point in the manual. Please use a soft cloth to remove the dust and dirt on the surface. Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the solar module to remove any remaining dust or dirt. Any guano or other adhesive should be removed as soon as possible from the solar surface to avoid a reduction in performance.

    Absolutely worth buying

    I picked up Explorer 240 unit & totally impressed with it. The build quality and does what it states if not more. In fact so pleased I later purchased 2 Explorer 500 units. We don't camp so often but with recent grid outages at Heathrow and Spain, it makes sense to invest in this for peace of mind. The units are easy to carry and store so just in case of an emergency, I know we will have power.

    Old Technology but wors fine for my needs

    Old model with outdated battery Lithium not the newer ones and takes an age to charge up from the mains but who is in a rush - Made up a separate battery to charge up via the solar/mains input which was very cheap and tops the unit up quickly with the modern battery system.

    Very happy with the Jackery Explorer 300 plus works great for a couple of items that we need 240v for, nice and compact 👍👌

    Unfortunately we have had a little as accident with it (our fault) we left it on the worktop next to the hob and melted the back casing, luckily we moved it in time and it still works fine, just got a big hole in the back, we are hoping that we can get a new casing (need to speak to customer services) on that mater
