Only used once but worked well plugged in top top up on a long trip back with caravan
This is so useful. I keep it plugged into to my lighter port in my campervan and attached to my Jackery 2000 power unit which means it is charging whenever I’m driving. It’s an extra bonus when solar charging is slow or there’s no access to power from the grid to charge up.
I purchased a Jackery Explorer 240 V2 back in September last year on their Amazon store to use in my micro camper to power the lights, fridge and charge my phone etc. All good and works perfectly.
Because of this i decided to order the car charging cable directly from the website. I searched for the explorer 240v2 and along with the battery the car charging cable comes up as a search result. When you look at the product description it says it works for my battery.
From website: This car charging cable is fitted with Jackery Explorer Series, including 100 Plus, 300 Plus, 240v2, 1000 v2, and 2000 v2 Portable Power Station
However the cable did not fit my battery – I contacted support and they advised me that I needed a black cable which they kindly sent to me. However this still did not fit. After contacting support again they advised that I was informed incorrectly and that I needed a connector for the orange cable which was another £30.
As a result of this I wanted to return the item – and I was told that I had to pay for the returns postage – even though your website still says today the cable works for Explorer 240 V2.
I thought fine I cant be bothered to argue so I sent it back with royal mail and sent them a copy of the tracking number as requested.
A month later I chased them to ask why they haven’t processed my refund yet –an agent called Ivan told me the refund has been issued please allow 3 days – I gave them a week – still no refund . I contacted support again asking them to provide the ARN reference so I can track the refund with my bank – again by Ivan I was told that the refund has been issued but there was a system malfunction as the order was not recalled correctly. Please allow some time for it to be processed again – there is no need to contact your bank as the problem is with us.
Gave it another week – still no refund. By this point I had had enough and opened a dispute with my bank – providing them all the documentation and email trails. My bank monzo was very good and refunded the money within a day.
Today 20th March I get a message through monzo about my case saying that Jackery had disputed my claim. I sent all the email trails including the correspondence where Jackery told me it had been refunded. Monzo have still honoured the refund
This has left a bitter taste and I don’t think I will buy anything from them again. It’s a shame really as I am in the market for a larger battery and solar kit but I think I will try bluetti instead.
In the past using these cables from other manufacturers they dont work and the reason is that the cable thickness was too thin and the contacts didnt make a decent contact and so running a fridge freezer like Totalcool you had an F1 error and it wouldn't work.
Plugged in the Jackery cable and bingo the fridge freezer works a treat off the Jackery 1000 unit and charges from the car. Solution after over 12 months.
Just what I needed to keep my power bank topped up on the move.
Well made, looks really professional and is sturdy.
Unit fits comfortable with a netted pocket on the top to stow away leads.
Well worth the price.
You get what you pay for
Great bit of kit would recommend the bag really happy with product and service thanks
I agree with Jackery, the wattage to size ratio is great. Collapsible handle is a must, a great improvement. Quick charging and almost silent, another plus for this unit. I think the best feature is the Wi-Fi app. I can see at anytime what charge is remaining from anywhere, how my solar charging is getting on, and turn the unit on and off, which is surprising useful. Would have liked a few adapters so that different Solar panels could be connected and also adapters for old Jackery to new Jackery. Don’t forget this unit has a 5 year warranty, brilliant!

Awesome bit of kit use it in my shed and for caravan trips can't wait for the weather to get better to take to the beach
Fits great. Nice and roomy.
Definitely needed.
Great bit off kit!
Small, portable and powerful!
Great looking unit. Purchased after lots of recommendations from TentBox users. Has all the sockets / plugs on it that I need. Tested it to charge my phone that it did effortlessly.
Was pleasantly surprised at how easy this 1000 is to use and understand. Tells you everything of what's coming in and going out and how long is left of battery use.
Love the app so I don't have to keep looking at the screen in the device.
The 100 solar panel charges quite quickly, in April tool. At one point it crept upto to 110watts charge coming in.
First time owning one of these and can't wait to get using it on our adventures.
This is the first Jackery product I bought. It's been great, I feel like the change lasts so well. I'm just using it for my phone and sometimes my headphones but it is working perfectly. Super easy to charge and use and a great size for using and taking anywhere. Loved this so much I've now bought the explorer 2000 vs as well which is also great.
I preferred the jackery to other products due to its relatively smaller size and lower price. Enough ac and dc sockets for my use so bigger unit would be a waste and prefer the portability of this. Will have to wait and see on reliability but gas 5 year warranty.
Love the Jackery I ordered and it's functionality, size and design. I also ordered the bag which is great although my only comment would be that its slightly too large for the Jackery 300. Overall I'm very happy with everything I have ordered and know it's an investment that will see my camping trips through the test of time.
My new 100W panel is easily set up and connected to different power packs and seems to be more efficient than my earlier 100W Jackery panel. I have noticed that it occasionally blows over in mild winds however, but overall I am very pleased with it.

I purchased the Jackery Explorer 2000 initially to provide emergency back up during a grid outage. The hotel load on my property, a modest 3 Bed detached cottage in South West Devon, sits around 5KWhr energy consumption in 24 Hrs. With the Extension battery I can provide all that I need to cook, light and heat the whole house. I cook using a tefal 1.25KW muti cooker and it only uses a few percent over 30 mins or so. It runs two freezers and a fridge over night each having 55Watts of load. I can boil the 3Kw Kettle a multitude of times, run low wattage led lighting in the evening and also run my central heating system before recharge is needed. I will now probably purchase two more units and run an off grid network around the home. I would also recommend purchasing at least two solar saga 200 Watt folding solar arrays. Overall I am impressed. Very useful to back off hotel load in the summer and as an emergency supply for all year round.
