  • It's LiFePO4 with the advantages of high temperature resistance, strong safety stability, and better circulation performance.

  • It is rated for 4000 full charge cycles, at that point you will have about 70% of your original capacity, and it will gradually reduce from there. 
    ( it's not to say the battery only has 4000 cycle life span. Among 4000 cycles, the unit can exert its best performance. It would not perform its best after 4000 cycles because of internal wastage.)

  • You can plug in Jackery 80W/100W/200W solar panel to charge the Explorer 2000 Plus.

  • It has a unique silent charging mode with a maximum noise of up to 30DB(like in a library) and it will take 4.5 hours to fully charge the power station in this mode.

  • Yes, search for “Jackery” in Google Play or Apple Store to install the App. After that, you can register and login.

  • 30% of the power stored for 1 year can still be left with 20% or more.

  • Yes, the built-in Battery Management System (BMS) and pure sine wave inverter protects your sensitive devices from damage.

  • We strongly do not recommend using other solar panel brands to recharge Jackery power station products since we cannot guarantee other brand quality and provide an after-sale service - for instance if damaged through using other company's solar panel brands.

Convenient portable power

I have two Explorer 2000s with six expansion battery packs, with a plan to buy more. Why so much power? One runs my home and is charged via the solar panels and topped up by economy 7 at night. The additional batteries run my caravan 230v system when off grid. It’s easy, convenient, plug and play power.

Wishing I had a bigger garden

After years of umming and aaring, and with more and more energy uncertainty, I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a generator big enough to manage some of the household power needs.

Currently running my full-size fridge freezer and two emergency torches, but with plenty of room for more items as/when needed, my only upset is that my garden is only big enough to house one solar panel.

If a wind turbine is ever available for the system, I will immediately purchase one.

I purchased the Jackery Explorer 2000 initially to provide emergency back up during a grid outage. The hotel load on my property, a modest 3 Bed detached cottage in South West Devon, sits around 5KWhr energy consumption in 24 Hrs. With the Extension battery I can provide all that I need to cook, light and heat the whole house. I cook using a tefal 1.25KW muti cooker and it only uses a few percent over 30 mins or so. It runs two freezers and a fridge over night each having 55Watts of load. I can boil the 3Kw Kettle a multitude of times, run low wattage led lighting in the evening and also run my central heating system before recharge is needed. I will now probably purchase two more units and run an off grid network around the home. I would also recommend purchasing at least two solar saga 200 Watt folding solar arrays. Overall I am impressed. Very useful to back off hotel load in the summer and as an emergency supply for all year round.

Awesome piece of kit!

After a huge amount of research and seeing someone else’s in real life, I went ahead and bought the Jackery 500. Used it the last couple of weekends when we were away and it was perfect. Great size too and not too heavy. Would highly recommend, love the sturdiness of it and the simplicity when using it. Great to be able to see how much battery is left at the touch of a button. 5 stars!

It took a while for this product to come back into stock, but very pleased we waited to purchase one. This is a great product - we like its portable size and aesthetics, the adjustable light and brightness, easy UCB-C charging, and decent battery life between charges. Just what I needed!

Exactly what I needed without overkill on my Transit conversion. Powers a 12v compressor fridge when needed, led lights, water pump, and a handful of usb sockets. I’m not saying that this is all it’s capable of but this is all I needed it for and it does it well.

We purchased this recently to use in and outside our motorhome. The quality is excellent and with the adjustable lighting arrangement, provides the right amount of light for many situations.
