Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus Portable Power Station

Does all I need for giving 2KW power in my ID. BUZZ Camper. Only reason no 5 star is due to high price (for me anyway) but quality costs and this feels total quality product. 4000 rated charge cycle with longer lasting batteries a great plus too.

Having, for years used a combination of solar panel, leisure battery and homemade leads, the Jackery is a huge improvement. It takes all the guesswork out of knowing how much power you have left and wondering whether there's enough to keep the fridge powered during the night - and stops you being woken up by the constant bleeping when the fridge switches on and off throughout the night or being plunged into darkness when the tent light goes off.

First purchase of a power bank and works as hoped and expected. Good technical support to resolve a couple of minor issues around familiarity.
Purchased the 1000 Plus with a spare battery pack so for single days away can just take the main pack for convenience, having less bulk and weight. First experience of solar panels and found that the 2 x 100w panels connected via a solar connector need bright sunshine and good alignment to charge effectively. On even lightly overcast days the required charging voltage is often not achieved. Time will tell whether that's a true limitation in the field.
Pleasantly surprised to find how useful it is to have an independent power source around the house/garden/garages without having to resort to a petrol generator.

Easy to use, only had a couple of weeks but feel like it is sturdy and reliable. Using just one 100w solar panel at the moment but do need to increase the input. Customer service and delivery excellent.

So decided to invest in some solar power back up given the world situation, needless to say my purchase came immediately before the ceasefire ;) anyway, I have used the jackery to run a sander for quite some time and hardly drained the battery. It's quite big but still fully mobile, easy to carry and a great power back up. Am yet to test the solar panel albeit bulky I think that will be a great side piece

We were looking for a power station for our VW T6 which we will be using for weekends away but did not want a full conversion to allow other uses for the shuttle should the need arise. The Jackery 1000 with upgradeable connections allows for needs to be met perfectly. Have used it in the garden to power a lawnmower. Very impressed with the product

This item came in four boxes and were very well double boxed as the day they arrived it was chucking it down but all were 100% bone dry it took about an hour each to fully charge at home.
Have NOT tried it out yet in van, but will deffo let you know how it goes. Rating 5* so far

Hi , upon opening the box , the 1000plus was well wrapped up.
Took 3hrs to mains charge with 1 extra power pack connected .power seemed to have lasted well . Nice energy bank to have.

We bought one for camping, which is our passion, and took it to Devon with the tent. One of the reasons for purchasing this is to avoid the electricity charge on a site and to be totally independent. It worked brilliantly and was very easy to set up and use so bought another one as well, for home, as we want to save money on our electric bills (we are Pensioners in our 80s). We absolutely love them and are trying out all our gadgets with them. Fantastic bit of kit, just annoyed we didn't come to Jackery earlier in life!

Not long bought the 1000 model for use when motor homing and at home and so far have tested a few of the items I will be using when travelling. I tried various USB charging including laptops, phones, hair straighteners, GoPro etc, and using a toaster, travel hairdryer and very pleased with the charging/use times and that the % of power used was lower than expected. Have not been able to try the solar panels yet as waiting for the sun to arrive in Britain!
The next important item to check is to charge my starter engine battery and see how the Jackery 1000 performs.

Prior to purchasing I was in touch with the customer service team as I had a few questions before buying to see which battery to buy. Service was excellent, quick responses and very helpful which made my selection much easier. Quick delivery too.
Had a query after delivery that was quickly resolved, overall great service and would recommend using Jackery to anyone and so far would recommend the 1000 battery for appliances etc within 2000 watts.

Have used this a couple times if times since only buying it a couple of weeks ago and has worked up to my expectations .
Would possibly get a extra battery for it as need to go off grid for two weeks but price of second battery is very expensive being a pensioner will have to save up for it

As the world seems to be in a bad place now, I have thought for a while of getting a "back up source" to run house hold hold appliances, like fridge freezer, lights etc in case of power outage. I have used this Jackery several times as a trial to power things around the house. I would have given a 5 star review but for one thing. We have solar panels at home and you do not need 100% sun for them to work, I know your solar panels are not to the performance levels of home roof units, but on a sunny cloudy day they only work in direct sun. To me not a problem I charged my Jackery for free using house solar............

Bought this product with additional battery pack a few weeks ago and I’m not disappointed, quality of materials and finish are exceptional, used in my motorhome whilst in the lakes powering my air fryer and other small appliances and it worked with then all, even powered the whole van for an hour to top up the leisure battery.
Ordering and delivery were exceptional the whole bundle was delivered within 48hrs.
I would recommend this product to any looking for a power station.

Like me I am sure you have considered many factors when deciding what power station to invest in !
The power output, the build quality, output connections , recharge times and recharge options as in mains , car battery and solar. Also how does it look , how do I carry it around etc.

We are all different and all have different priorities but for me this looks great is built well can handle more power out than similar priced items in the market. I don’t want to invest in a unit that can’t power up all my products. Up to 2000 watts out which it can handle covers all my needs. Connectivity to all my devices at once Is easily covered. Recharging too is both quick and efficient . For me this is easily the best choice in the market.

Purchased this Jackery Solar Generator Kit. It arrived in 3 separate shipping. I had problems charging it to 2 solar panels and battery pack from the main or base battery eventhough I followed the Instruction booklets. Customer service Jing had been so helpful guiding me step by step via email and amazon messages. Also emailed me pictures of installations. I bought this during Amazon Prime Day because of Deal of the Day. Charging fast when I tested all the outlets - cord power, USB & C ports. Very Satisfied customer here. I would recommend this products.

Professional packaging, padding and handling, with prompt delivery. I was looking for a solid made, Portable Power Station that would do a bit more than charge a Smartphone. Run a coffee pot? A toaster? I hooked up an Echo Show 8, a Laptop and a 43" HDTV. The User Manual is clearly written and illustrated. It explains the math to figure out wattage. The Jackery App installs simple enough and is effective. I registered with Jackery on their site for the 3 year warranty and got 2 years added. After my test run, I used the Solar Panels to recharge the battery. I have 2 Jackery Extention Cords to extend the panels outward, as needed. They appear to be solidly made. The Shadow Spot alignment is an excellent idea. I have 2 other Jackery Portable Stations. They're worth the cost.

We've had to use this three times in the last four days: major electrical service with power shut off, blown fuse in the power lines down the road, and Hurricane Helene winds outage. I used one Explorer 1000 to keep the freezer running and one to power TV and internet. Both did what I needed them to do for 4-5 hours during each of these occasions. I have 5 Jackery generators of varying sizes--the Jackery website is very informative in helping you decide what you need for different appliances.

Used the jackery for the first time since purchasing while at a camping trip. Utilized it everyday to charge phones, portable chargers, fans, lights etc. Started at 100% and after 5 days of use only brought it down to 83%. I even used my hair straightener multiple times which was insane! Noise level was faint. Love the design and how powerful it is. Although it is portable, its quite heavy for its size. We used a wagon to help lug it out with the other camp gear.

Bought Explorer 1000 Plus to provide AC supply in event of power cuts in our area. Had looked at gasoline & diesel generators but the Jackery is a much neater and quieter solution without hazard of storing fuel at home. Impressive quality product that's very easy to use. Charges up quickly and my wife likes fact that is uses the one of the safest type of batteries.

We use this power bank for off-grid camping and for power outages at home. Its a real workhorse! At our first camping trip, we were surprised at how little battery power many of our devices used, and after a week we came home with power to spare. The solar panels work great and I would definitely recommend them. (Although of course, regular a/c power charging is the fastest.) Solar panels have a little target to be sure you have the best alignment to the sun, and I discovered that you can plug devices directly into the solar panels (like a cell phone) for charging. Not a huge fan of the easel-back flaps (with elastic) on the solar panels, but they work well and once you get the panels in place, changing the angle is easy. I like the ergonomics of the carry handle on the power bank (folds down flat, easy to carry) and find it easy to use and transport. Its a bit pricey, but well worth the $$.

This solar generator is a bargain coming with 2 100W Solar Panels!
I have unpacked the bundle, and charged the generator very quickly
by plugging it into a wall socket, but the panels arrived separately,
so I have not had the opportunity to charge the unit with the solar
panel as of yet. This unit was recommended by friends in NM who
have used the generator in an emergency and were grateful for their
purchase! I live in southern Louisiana, an area prone to hurricanes.
Our last hurricane left me powerless for 2 weeks, and the season has
begun, so I do not want to wait in very long gas lines if we are out of
power for weeks at a time. Everyone should have an alternative power
source. My choice is solar!

Purchased the Jackery 1000 Plus Solar Generator in April 2024.
We are replacing a portable gas generator.
The intent of use is when hurricanes and storms roll through the state and the power goes out in the house. Just looking to power a full size refrigerator, coffee maker and some lamps. We tested the solar panels with Full Sun and the generator powered up quickly to 100%. Then tested on a refrigerator in my garage for two hours. It took about 10% power. We have not downloaded the app yet so cannot comment about it. The generator is quiet and can hardly be heard when on. It is easy to set up and use out of the box.
Before purchasing we called and emailed the Jackery company customer service with some questions. They were informative and assisted us with our inquiries promptly.
