I was about to set off in my campervan with my solar panel but no adapter - unused up to then, and mislaid - so I ordered a replacement to be sent to a destination in Scotland. It arrived there before I did. Of course, the adapter is essential for the Jackery Explorer 240. As for the adapter itself, it works, as expected.
Really good fast charger . Very pleased
Very good quality charge cables. The clamps are really string and the teeth are sharp and have a strong grip. The cable has a velcro-style wrap-around cable tidy. Perfect for charging the 12v battery of a car.
Just the job for van living as it can power kitchen appliances such as Microwaves, Air Friers, George Foreman Grills, Blenders, Room Heaters, Kettles, Fridges, TVs etc of a more normal capacity to turn your van into a home. With lower power items ideally run by a Jackery E500v2 to free the E1000v2 to power higher wattage items - fits great in the Jackery Trolley for easy transportation and with quicker mains charging is ideal for topping up with permission of course. Takes at least 2 SolarSaga 100w panels to charge in a day of 7 - 8 hours from flat in good weather with the option if 3 or 4 to chsrge quicker in less than ideal conditions !!
RECOMMEND 1000v2 for van camping !!, E500v2 for car camping or even the E240v2 which takes up little space, is lightweight and when combined with a low wattage travel kettle, rice cooker and camping gaz griddle can be used for hiking with outside cooking facility !!
I bought the Explorer 1000 to recharge my camera and drone batteries when I'm out and about, and as I have no power anywhere near my driveway, to recharge my car battery when it gets a bit low through too many short journeys. I bought Jackery's top-quality accessory to do that and it worked perfectly with the station losing only 14% of its total charge to top up my car! I can also take it into my shed (also without power) and use the Explorer 1000 for my power tools. Best thing I have bought in a long while!
It is really easy to use. It has a 12v output socket, USB and USB-C sockets and shows you both input and output wattage on a clear HQ display. It's quite a heavy unit but everything about it is high quality, including the build plastics and cushioning for the carrying handle.
My wife and I aren't preppers but with the state the UK is in at the moment we reckon we need something that will tide us over a 7 day power cut. JACKERY kit is very good indeed, but we bought my 3000v2 plus 2 200w solar panels directly from the Jackery website where it's much cheaper than on Amazon. PLUS they offer discounts for Essential Service Workers, Blue Light Card Holders, OAPs, and Disabled Folk. No brainer really. Sorry Amazon.
I have a Jackery for years but decided that two would be better than one. They live under the bed in out small van and charge from either the van or if the sun is out from the 300W of Jackery solar we now have. Great bit of kit.
Just what I needed
I’m fed up of buying power banks that don’t last more than one charge of a phone and I found my answer
Perfect to charge my phone and anything else I may need
I got the 500 v2 to look after my phone, tablet and laptop. However it is also able to cover lighting, speaker, and projector when I am the road doing presentations. Very light but very useful for so many tasks. Bought with a 100w solar saga which charges of fairly quickly. Very pleased with my purchase. I let my 1000 v2 cope with the coffee maker and air fryer.
Over the past twelve months I’ve purchased the 2,000 plus and add on 2,000 powerpack along with 2 200w panels. More recently purchased a 3,000 V2.
Whilst both are used at home charging off my roof panels I use the 2,000 plus for when I go camping to mainly run a 45l fridge freezer. Certainly in cooler weather having the 4kw has been brilliant running the freezer plus some recharging for 14 days without topping up. At home I use it all the time to run a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher. As I charge it off my home solar it’s all free electricity.
So all has gone to plan with my setups.
Do however have a bit of an issue with the blutooth connection which loses connection snd you have to turn the battery off and on and re connect. But not a major issue.
Oh and delivery has been excellent.
I don’t think as yet in the UK they do the installed hard wired version for home solar but would consider it.
Love my Jackerys and making my own electric. But the coupons and codes that are offered which are great are very limiting and cant often be used in more than one and can have expiry dates on them which mean if your saving for another one your coupon may expire before you have chance to use it. Word does need to be done in order to be able to use coupons and coeds that you have spent money for and allowing them to still be there when you have enough money to use them.
I added two solar panels to my purchase of the v2000. Pleased I bought the extension cable to give me greater flexibility with positioning. Works perfectly.
We enjoy rural living but don't enjoy the odd loss of electricity.
This year we decided to get the Jackery, having seen plenty of good reviews. It has lived up to expectations. It is a solid piece of kit!
Although only the 2000 version, this will provide the necessary back up of lights, router, phones and tablet in the next blackout.
We’re yet to actually use our carrying case on a camping trip, but we knew we wanted one after seeing a friend’s Jackery set-up when we went camping. He had his power station neatly protected in a Jackery bag and we had serious bag envy! 😂
We’re really pleased with ours now it’s arrived. It feels well made, looks great and will make storing and transporting our Jackery so much easier. Even better, the carrying case was included with the bundle we bought, which made an already great package even better.
Very happy with it and looking forward to putting the whole set-up to good use on our next camping trip!
Does what it says on the tin! Nice and compact and feels robust, lcd useful to see what’s going on and what charge is left.
Really efficient fast charging item and being used in kitchen and powering most appliances
