Jackery Explorer 100 Plus Portable Power Station

Needed a small but powerful charger for when I disappear into the wilds for a week or more . If you only need to charge smaller devices like a phone , watch or speaker then this small but mighty beast is ideal. Small enough to throw in a rucksack for an overnight camp or stuff in a dry bag as you paddle the rivers . Definitely recommend to anyone who loves being in the wilds and off grid for a while 😎

Great little portable unit, small enough to have in your rucksack for a day out and able to charge, phone, watch and iPad in a day and still have power left.

Great little power bank! Long lasting and lovely build quality. Slightly on the heavier side but thats actually c9nforting based on what im using it for. My lad found out it can power a small monitor and his Nintendo switch so we can play Mariokart on a screen on the move! Game changer. Love it.

I bought this back up charger on recommendation on the website. It’s a fantastic tool as our kids are always taking plug charger out of the wall and leaving us with none. This is ideal. Definitely recommend and can charge 3 items at the same time too. And the power outage is of great flow. Last for days without having to recharge. This is an excellent purchase and would recommend to anyone who is desperate for child friendly assistance. Will be looking into more stuff from jackery very soon definitely. Thank you so much.

Bought two 100 Plus portable power stations, upon arrival, both arrived with zero battery percent out of the box.

I spoke to customer support who said this can happen depending upon storage.

From my perspective, no device should be leaving Jackery’s warehouse with zero battery, as this can damage rhe batteries.

Needless to say, both devices are losing around 6% battery per day when left with no devices charging from it. This could be a fault with the batteries and / or BMS.

I have a 1000 Plus with a 1000 battery expansion and a 300 Plus, all of which are great. The 100 Plius does not have the same quality that you’d expect from Jackery.

I shall be retiring these for a full refund - my advice to anyone thinking of getting a 100 Plius…….avoid and get something else!

The Jackery Explorer 100 Plus
Arrived within a couple of days and was well packaged.
After the initial recommended full charge, I started to use the portable power station and was pleasantly surprised how much I could charge up with the 99Wh battery.
I also purchased the Jackery GaN 3-port wall charger which is much faster to charge up the unit than a standard 20w charger.
I would definitely recommend the Explorer 100 Plus,
It’s an easy to use, well made and very compact unit. Ideal for travel or to put in your bag.

High quality item with a small footprint and decent capacity. I use mine in a campervan to run Laptops routers and to charge phones etc. I can charge it from the Leisure Battery when driving and it charges quickly. It is quite small which allows me to store it in a cupboard, secured with Velcro but can easily be taken out and used on the tabletop or even taken out in a rucksack.

Used this to charge phones and tablet in the campervan. Works better than my normal power bank, the information on charging and discharging is good. Charges back up using a solar panel very quickly.

Been testing this the past few weeks, and overall very positive. Only niggle I have is on the solar charging side, but will get to that.

Firstly, what's good about the Jackery 100 Plus?

*Good size battery for portable devices
*Great power delivery and acceptance from any supported power source
*Really good USB-C PD support

Battery pack can be charged by a normal USB 5V, 1A plug, so if your concerned that you need a specific charger, don't worry. I even tried 2 chargers into a USB-C port each and it took power from both. Don't recommend that, but it worked.

Further, it supports being charged, and charging a device at the same time, so a great UPS function for any USB powered device. Also has pass thru so in the event of power in and a charged battery, it can just pass it along.

Expanding on that, the USB-C PD support means I can also run a 60W soldering iron and have got adaptors for my laptops to also charge from this. Not limited to just your smartphones and tablets!

Solar charging is my only niggle. So far I can't achieve more than 30W on the panels I am using. Seems it runs in a PWM like charger instead of a MPPT but honestly, it's a small power station. The fact it can charge of up to 100W of solar panels directly is amazing.

I have taken it on trips where it works like a champ, and at home I have placed solar panels in the window so it charges in the day and I can use that power to charge my daily devices. Effectively a mini off grid solar setup where the Jackery is acting as the solar charger, battery pack, and power supply in a single box.

Would 100% recommend for the money. It's just so practical.

I’m a regular customer here and I love the product range. This 40w Mini Solar Panel is a great addition to my existing Jackery products. It’s a great fit to my Explorer 240! I can’t recommend these products too highly…! 😎❤️

I needed something for a weekend away that would charge my phone, tablet and Bluetooth speakers. I charged the iPad 2 times, phone 3 times and the speaker as well and still had 20 percent free that I didn’t use. Great device but the only down side is the UK don’t sell the case for this device yet and really would like a case for the battery pack.

I needed something small and what I can charge very quick and Jackery Explorer 100 Plus is perfect! The excellent build quality like all my Jackery stuff! Jackery support have been really helpful and answered all my queries. Would definitely recommend this Portable Power Station!

Got it on sale and i can say its probably one of the best decisions I've taken, can charge 5 and sometimes 6 phone aswell

Very cute!…but still does the job! My mrs says it would be even better if it had a little handle too!
However, I’ve got several Jackery Power Stations along with the Solar Saga 100 to charge them…which I would definitely recommend.
I charge all my iPhones, iPads, AirPods and everything else including my Dji Air 3 drone batteries) Ineed to charge and the Jackeries never fail to deliver. So glad I’ve got the Sola Saga though!

What a great piece of kit the Jackery 100 plus is. We took this camping with us and used it constantly over a 10 day period. The unit charged nicely when we were off driving on days out and this along with its bigger brother, the Jackery 1000, saw us through our holiday period. I found the "little Jack" easy to carry in my back pack and we charged it in pubs too like you would with a mobile phone. We have just bought a Jackery solar panel and am looking forward to taking that with us next time. My partner initially was sceptical about purchasing these items, but is not firmly converted after experiencing their benefits on our camping trips. Thank you Jackery!

The Jackery Explorer 100 Plus is a very capable unit for its size. The ability to charge using up to a 100 watt solar panel is a very strong feature. I’ve managed 82 watts from one so far and expect to be able to better that during the summer. The supplied usb c cable is also very good quality. I have a 65 watt none Jackery charger but feeds in at this 65 watts with no problem. I expect would manage 100 watt input if equivalent charger was used. Very pleased to date.

Bought this little power bank for my Starlink perfect size to carry and perfect size to for emergency power for the Starlink will also be using it in my motorhome

Not used yet, bought for summer in sale. Looks good, solid build quality.
Not sure why they could not send solar with battery and contacted support, tried hard, kept getting email back myself?? No clue why. But all good

Its not bad. I thought it might last a bit longer than it did, but very useful for me when i go on fishing trips.
