Seamless Preparedness: An Experience with Jackery Power Solutions

Meet Michael, a proactive individual who has seamlessly integrated Jackery's power solutions into his life, allowing him to maintain a sense of connection and preparedness in the face of power outages and unforeseen events.

Michael resides in a village where power outages occasionally disrupt the tranquility. Aware of the importance of staying connected and prepared for emergencies, he sought a reliable solution, originally considering the Explorer 500 for his needs.

1.Can you describe how the Jackery have become an essential part of your emergency preparedness plan? What specific devices or appliances do you power with them during power outages?

>> In our village, power outages occasionally occur. In case of such an event, we wanted to ensure that at the very least, our WiFi router could keep running, and our smartphones could stay charged. Initially, I considered getting the Explorer 500 for this purpose. However, when the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro was offered together with two Solar Saga 100 panels, and an Explorer 240 was included as a gift, my plan took a more concrete shape.

2.Have you encountered any specific power outage scenarios where the Jackery power stations played a crucial role in maintaining essential functions or comforts in your home?

>> In the event of a power outage, I can power our WiFi router using the Explorer 240. The Explorer 1000 Pro can supply power to our television and charge our smartphones. A small lamp is plugged into the second outlet. Our stationary phones have batteries that can last for several days after a power interruption, and our outdoor cameras can last for weeks. Therefore, even during a power outage, we remain reachable and can see who enters our property or moves through the garden.

3.When it comes to using the Jackery 1000 Pro and 240 for emergency power, what aspects of these products do you find most reassuring or dependable?

>> If the power outage has a more serious cause, the television remains switched off. In that case, the Jackery 1000 Pro becomes my emergency backup for recharging the battery of my electric moped. If the moped's batteries are depleted, the Explorer 1000 Pro allows me to achieve a range of over 20 km, so I can commute to my workplace (and back) or reach the nearest town. I try to use my car as sparingly as possible.

>> In the summer, the Explorer 1000 Pro, combined with the two Solar Saga 100 panels, is used for energy savings. My garden irrigation pump has a rating of 1300 watts on the nameplate, but in normal operation, it does not exceed 1050 watts, and the Explorer can sustain this for at least an hour. This allows me to fill water containers, water flower beds, or use the garden shower. Most battery-powered devices in our home and garden are charged using both generators.

4.How does the ease of use and quick setup of these power stations factor into your readiness for power outages, especially in situations that require a rapid response?

>>The solar panels are easy to hang in our conservatory. This has the advantage of providing some shade during the summer since we had to remove our large old oak tree, which used to provide shade, for safety reasons.

5.In your opinion, how does relying on a portable power solution like Jackery align with the idea of being self-sufficient and prepared for unforeseen events?

 >>The small Jackery Explorer 240 powers smaller devices wherever one would otherwise need an extension cord. It went on vacation with us right after purchase, serving us well in a boathouse. It was important to me that the device wouldn't just sit at home but would be used as often and as effectively as possible.
