However, the intensity of the light constantly changes. In addition, the angle of the light illuminating the solar panel also changes with the rotation of the sun. Please try test your solar panel under the full sunlight to see, and make sure there is no shadow cast on the panel."

    • A: We mentioned this point in the manual. Please use a soft cloth to remove the dust and dirt on the surface. Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the solar module to remove any remaining dust or dirt. Any guano or other adhesive should be removed as soon as possible from the solar surface to avoid a reduction in performance.

    I bought the 500 to use in my campervan when I am off grid. I got the solar panels with it too, for ease of charging when off-grid. The 500 is lightweight and easy to carry, it doesn't take up much room and is very easy to use. The outlets are more than enough and the solar panel lead also has outlets in it too for USB and USBC charging. The only thing I would criticise is that the 500 does not have a USBC charging point on it so if you need this outlet then you would need the solar panel lead. It charges up quickly with the solar and there are indicators on the panel that show you how much charge is being inputted into the machine when hooked up to solar. This helps determine the position of the panels when charging for maximum efficiency. Very happy with the 500 and would definitly recommend it to others.

    When I saw the size of the box, I thought, oh dear this won't produce much light.
    I was so wrong, it has different light levels and tones. The high bright white setting is a great task lamp, the low warm white is a comfortable light. Control switch on the top is novel with no fumbling in the dark to find a tiny switch. It can hang or sit. Great la.p, would recommend.
